IT Security Delivery Lead

The following role is a 6 month contract engagement INSIDE IR35. We are seeking a Security Delivery Lead to support a geographically diverse cybersecurity team within a life sciences organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering security projects, providing internal advisory across business functions, and leading incident response efforts. You will work closely with a senior security leader to strengthen the European region\'s capabilities. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is technically adept, and has broad experience across multiple areas of cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver security initiatives across a varied technology landscapeProvide internal security advisory across business units, not limited to security-specific projectsManage incident response activities within the EU region, coordinating with global stakeholdersSupport and mentor a distributed team across multiple time zonesDrive improvements in security technologies and operational processesCollaborate with leadership to shape and mature the security functionIdeal Candidate Based in the EU time zone with flexibility to collaborate globallyBroad experience as a security generalist across operations, governance, risk and compliance, and technical domainsStrong technical skills with the ability to lead and challenge effectivelyExperience working in smaller security teams with wide-ranging responsibilitiesComfortable working independently and taking initiativeStructured, pragmatic, and able to prioritise effectivelyA team player with leadership qualities and excellent communication skillsNRG is an equal opportunities employer committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
